Sports are an increasingly important part of Palestinian culture, though adequate, accessible, safe facilities are lacking. In this project, facilities at the Thahriya Football Arena in Hebron were upgraded. Thahriya is home to the Palestinian national champions, and the field had been constructed to international standards but was never used due to the fact that it had no stadium or essential facilities. In response, FFP built a stadium arena seating area and rehabilitated other aspects of the arena structure to make it more accessible and operational.
